SUSUMEALS began with a simple idea: to make everyday meals wholesome, flavorful, and thoughtfully prepared.My culinary journey began in Korea, where I studied Food & Nutrition and developed a foundation in traditional Korean and Asian cooking. After moving to California and studying at the Culinary Institute of America, I was introduced to a vibrant mix of cultures, ingredients, and flavors from around the world.Those experiences shaped the way I cook today—bringing global inspiration to my Korean roots, with vegetables and thoughtfully chosen ingredients at the center. Rather than relying on heavy seasoning, I let ingredients work together to create natural depth and flavor.My hope is that SUSUMEALS can take one small worry off your plate each week, leaving you more time for good food and meaningful moments with the people you love.
